5 units 10 hours weekly Advisory: Eligibility for ENGL 099, READ 099 and MATH 070. Designed for those desiring to develop skills and knowledge in auto body repair techniques with emphasis on antique and classical car restoration. The successful student will be able to safely use auto body hand tools; power and hydraulic equipment; oxyacetylene weld, cut and braze auto body sheet metal; shape, align, and metal finish damaged body panels; properly use body solder (lead) and plastic body fillers; mix and apply automotive primers.
