3 units 6 hours weekly Prerequisite: Completion of ART 110. Corequisite: Concurrent enrollment in ART 121L. Advisory: Completion of CG 101. Instructional materials fee required for this course and must be paid at registration. This course provides the student with an introduction to the basic principles, theories, and techniques in digital drawing by using the computer as an artistic tool. Projects emphasize composition, skill and conceptual development, and individual interpretation. Students further their knowledge and application of the elements of design and the principles of art that are essential to all art forms. Students may have to purchase additional supplies not provided by the college. (CSU, UC, AVC) ( R2)
