T h i s c o u r s e c o v e r s t h e c o n c e p t s o f w o r d p r o c e s s i n g e m p h a s i z i n g Microsoft Word. Topics covered include preparing documents, text formatting and editing, management of files and folders, formatting paragraphs, using multiple windows, and standard letter and punctuation styles. This vocationally oriented course will serve students seeking a certificate, associate degree, or desiring to transfer to a four-year institution. BEFORE ENROLLING students should have used a word processing program to create, save, retrieve, edit, and print. (CSU, AVC)
