1 unit 22 hours total Advisory: Completion of ENGL 099 or concurrent enrollment, and Eligibility for College Level Reading. The course is designed for students who have little or no research writing experience or for those who wish to refresh their skills. This self-paced course will concentrate on writing papers across the curriculum. The student will develop a term paper on the topic of his/her choice in stages: generating ideas for suitable topics, narrowing the focus, researching the topic (research techniques and type), organizing the paper, documenting, preparing for submission.
