FREN 111 - elementary French Conversation

2 units 4 hours weekly Prerequisite: Completion of FREN 110 or concurrent enrollment in FREN 102. This course is designed for students with an elementary knowledge of French who want to improve oral comprehension fluency and pronunciation and to expand their vocabulary and conversational ability. Students will spend most of their time conversing with other students in pairs or small groups. Class will be conducted entirely in French. This course builds upon the knowledge and skills learned in FREN 110 and parallels much of the vocabulary and grammatical structures covered in FREN 102 in order to allow students to develop conversational fluency.
