2 units 2 hours weekly Limitation on Enrollment: Audition and concurrent enrollment in MUS 183. This course prepares music for public performance, often with the Master Chorale Orchestra. Students study and perform choral masterworks from the European tradition of the last five centuries, American folk music and spiritual selections. In addition to receiving ensemble performance experience and training in vocal technique, students gain a practical understanding of the diversity of musical styles. (CSU, UC, AVC) ( R3)
