This course is the continuation of Legal Office Procedures I and is designed to provide a thorough understanding and offer practical application of the skills needed as a legal assistant or legal professional. The course will continue to cover legal office systems and technology; state and federal court structure; research; calendaring; legal terminology; records management; civil litigation, post-litigation, and nonlitigation; responsibilities and preparation for employment; and the preparation of court forms through the use of legal software programs.
