3 units 3 hours weekly Advisory: Completion of RE 101, and Eligibility for ENGL 099, READ 099 and MATH 060. This course focuses on the professional activities of the broker and salesperson in the real estate business. Special attention is given to the real estate office, listings, valuation of listings, prospecting, advertising, exchanges, property management and leasing, land utilization and development, public relations, supervising the sales force, and ethics of the real estate business. This course meets one of the educational requirements toward a California Real Estate Salesperson's license. (CSU, AVC)
