(formerly RT 202) 4 units 2 hours lecture, 6 hours lab weekly Limitation on Enrollment: Formal admission to Respiratory Care/Therapy program. Prerequisite: Completion of RCP 105 and RCP 105CL with a grade of "C" orbetter. Corequisite: Concurrent enrollment in RCP 201, RCP 202CL, RCP 203 and RCP 203CL. This course provides theory and practice in respiratory care of the intensive care patient. Emphasis is placed upon the critical care environment, clinical assessment and monitoring, advanced airway management and continuous ventilatory support. (AVC)
