Prerequisites: LEGL110, LEGL140 Reviews basic concepts and scope of domestic relations law and family law practice, including the preparation of divorce pleadings, the early settlement memorandum, and the disclosure statement. Specific areas reviewed and supplemented with New Jersey law include divorce, custody and visitation, equitable distribution of marital assets, child support, alimony, and domestic violence.
