B17g-B17h (1.5-1.5) equivalent to B17gh. This course is a study of black and white photography in an area of specialized and personal interest. Advanced work is done in camera technique, darkroom practices and studio lighting. Students create technically proficient work of an expressive and original nature. A suitable 35mm film camera is required. Recommended: ART B17cd with a grade of "C.? ?Hours: B17gh-108 lect/lab. Field trips required. Offered: F, S. CCS: Liberal Arts & Sciences.
