Definition and classification of law. Court systems and procedure. Law of contracts: essentials of enforceable agreements, operation and discharge. Creation of relationship, rights and liabilities of parties and termination of relationship uniform commercial code of sales. Law of negotiable instruments: essentials of negotiability, negotiation and discharge. Law of property, personal property, acquisition, constitutional law, legislative, executive, judicial and administrative law. International business. Recommended: Reading Level 5 or 6. Hours: 54 lect. CCS: Occupational Education. Transferable: UC, CSU and private colleges.
