Advanced techniques to perform complex analyses on geographic data by applying ArcView's core functionality. Topics include data management; data presentation in layouts, reports, and interactive applications; spatial analysis and spatial modeling; Avenue scripts and Arc View extensions. Students can earn an ESRI Certificate of Specialization in Advanced Arc View GIS. Prerequisite: COMS B37 or COMS B77 or the equivalent. Hours: 27 lect. Offered: F, S, SS. CCS: Occupational Education. Not Transferable: Associate Degree only.
