Provides the STC training curriculum for newly promoted corrections supervisors. Includes supervisory role identification, leadership styles, values, ethics, principles, assertive leadership, employee performance appraisals, liability issues and legal updates, discipline, employee counseling, investigations, report review, and team building. Meets the training requirements set forth by the Corrections Standards Authority for counties participating in the Standards and Training for Corrections Program. Hours: 56 lect, 24 lab.
