Readings and practice in skills for effective functioning in interpersonal and group settings, including active listening, interviewing, group interaction and decision making. Emphasizes the development of skills specific to human services settings, relating across differences in race, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and social class in preparation for the workplace.
