A study of the morphology, culturing, metabolism, nutrition, and physiology of microorganisms; methods of media preparation and sterilization/disinfection techniques; control of selected pathogens; dairy and industrial applications; and bacterial genetics. Three hours lecture and three hours lab per week. Lab Fee.
