IIThis course continues the painting process in oils while students are also introduced to other painting mediums. Increased emphasis on modern painting techniques and styles replaces more traditional methods. While still life and landscape studies continue to be explored, the figure will also be included as will some conceptual problems. Students will be encouraged to develop their own style throughout the process. Recommended: ART 19 first. Two critique/lecture hours and four hours studio per week.
