SciencesThis course explores the overall medical laboratory experience. It introduces students to basic laboratory tasks, tests and procedures performed in medical office laboratories. The primary focus will be on laboratory safety, quality assurance and quality control, laboratory equipment and supplies, first aid, CPR, procurement of specimens, record keeping and communication with patients and staff. Pre- or co-requisite: BIO 15 or BIO 33/34. Two class hours and three lab hours a week. Instructional Support Fee applies3 credits Fall
