This course will introduce students to the concepts and techniques of object oriented programming using the ANSI/ISO Standard C++ language. Topics to be studied include classes and objects as encapsulation tools, design features for objects, operator overloading, the use of dynamic memory, inheritance and hierarchies among classes, virtual functions supporting polymorphism, exception handling, and the standard template library. (Prerequisites: COMP 126 and COMP 132)
