Description:
An introduction to network sockets programming, used to develop server and client server application programs for the Internet. The basic coverage of socket programming will include an overview of TCP/IP, network addressing, well known services, blocking and non-blocking sockets and support programs. The main emphasis will be placed on developing and debugging socket applications. Each student will write both UDP and TCP client server application programs. Prerequisite- Corequisite Prerequisites: CST 113 Introduction to Programming Using C# and CST 208W Introduction to Computer Networking.
