Description:
This studio course requires the student to become well acquainted with the designed physical environment. Practical, aesthetic, and psychological aspects of the built environment are addressed. Conceptualizing space through use of orthographic rendering to scale is stressed. Visual presentation techniques are introduced. The design vocabulary is applied to interior spaces. The design projects emphasize affordable residential solutions and sustainable design. Prerequisite- Corequisite Prerequisites: ART 105 Introduction to Two-Dimensional Design, CIV 159 Architectural Drafting w/CAD, or CIV 119 Architectural Drawing w/CAD.
