English reading and writing skills for non-native speakers at the high-intermediate level. Practice in reading high-intermediate texts and development of critical reading skills. Practice in writing paragraphs and multi-paragraph compositions, and in using intermediate sentence patterns and correct spelling and punctuation. Introduction to essay writing. (This course is not acceptable for credits toward a degree.) Prerequisite- Corequisite Prerequisite: ESL 105 Reading and Writing 2, equivalent, or Chairperson approval. Corequisites: ESL 113 and ESL 114
