This course is an introduction to the Internet. Students have hands-on experience learning and using basic Internet services: e-mail, listserv, newsgroups, ftp, chat, telnet, and the World Wide Web. They practice Internet etiquette, surfing techniques, and search strategies. It emphasizes how to download and how to document electronic sources.
