4 units; 3 hours Lecture, 6 hours Laboratory Prerequisite: CS 12J or the equivalent. Recommended Preparation: DM 160 or experience in the use of basic HTML; Eligibility for ENGL 100 and READ 100. Programming database-driven, web-based applications (such as an eCommerce web site) that require online data storage and retrieval and a high degree of user/web site interaction. The web programming environment used is Java accessing a MySQL database. May be offered in a Distance-Learning Format.
