3 units; 3 hours Lecture Repeatability: May be taken a total of 2 times. Prerequisite: Completion of 12 core units (ECE 31 or 131; 32 or 142; 51 and 53) for licensing or permit requirement and one year teaching experience. Recommended Preparation: Eligibility for ENGL 100 and READ 100. Emphasizes the leadership role of the director in the development of program and personnel evaluation procedures that reflect the goals of a program. Topics include goal-setting, team-building, assessment systems, record keeping, and cost-benefit analysis. Meets the requirements for three units Program Administration for Social Services Licensing and three of the required six units for the Site Supervisor level of the California Child Development Permit.
