6 units; 6 hours Lecture Prerequisite: ESL 200A or equivalent. A writing preparation class for second language students with an introduction to verbs, tenses, and parts of speech. Emphasis will also be placed on the development of speaking and listening skills. Simple sentences will serve as the focus for writing development.
