4 units; 12 hours Laboratory Repeatability: May be taken a total of 2 times. Prerequisite: Admission to the Associate Degree Nursing program. Corequisite: N14, N16, and N17. Recommended Preparation: All sciences completed within the last five years. Introduces the nursing process and the Neuman Systems Model; student begins to provide nursing care to clients with common health problems across the life course, in perinatal and medical/surgical settings. Transfer Credit: Transfers to CSU.
