3 units; 3 hours Lecture, 1 hour Laboratory Recommended Preparation: Eligibility for ENGL 100 and READ 100. Studies similarities and differences in the visual arts, music, and theatre arts are studied from an interdisciplinary perspective. Presents topics in creativity, aesthetics, style, and historical context are presented from a variety of viewpoints. Develops an awareness, understanding, and respect for diverse cultures through lecture, performance, and demonstration. Transfer Credit: Transfers to CSU. Transfers to UC.
