1 unit; 3 hours Lecture, 1 hour Laboratory Repeatability: May be taken a total of 2 times (with satisfactory progress.) Recommended Preparation: Eligibility for ENGL 100 and READ 100. Group instruction on flute, oboe, bassoon, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, French horn, trombone, baritone, tuba and percussion. No experience necessary. Students should provide their own instruments. Some instruments are available for checkout from the music department. Transfer Credit: Transfers to CSU. Transfers to UC.
