This is an introductory course that is part of the Faux Painting and Decorative Painting Certificate programs. Students will learn techniques for creating a variety of finishes: traditional glazing techniques with two or three blended colors, embedded finishes and dimensional stone and weathered finishes. All steps are demonstrated and practiced, from surface preparation to color mixing to final protective coatings.
