Students study and analyze the definitions, principles, and practices in e-commerce marketing focusing on a satisfactory customer experience. Web site design skills from a marketing perspective and various marketing strategies are emphasized. Security, ethical, legal, global, and tax issues are studied. This course is designed for both the business person who wishes to utilize the Internet as an aid to increasing profitability and the web designer who needs to understand the various marketing practices on the Internet. Prerequisite: GIT110 / 3 credits.
