The course will give the student the opportunity to learn the ancient art of Mosaics. The focus will be on methods of execution of mosaics utilizing ceramic, stone and glass. The student will create individual projects and will have the opportunity to collaborate on group projects such as murals, sculpture, and art installations. (4 studio hours plus 2 additional hours arranged) Prerequisite: One 3-credit art course / 3 credits; may be repeated once for credit.
