This course is designed to refine and expand upon the techniques and tools students have acquired in previous studies of the craft of acting, either through Acting I and Acting II, other comparable training experiences, or through real world experience working in the local theater community. This course will give students a thorough grounding in such advanced Stanislavski acting techniques as emotional recall, sense memory, visualization, playing subtext, and relationship communication. Additionally, students will utilize repetition exercises as conceived and developed by Sanford Meisner at the Neighborhood Playhouse. Prerequisite: THR103 or THR203 / 3 credits.
