Through a combination of classroom and clinical laboratory, this course builds on knowledge and skills acquired in MTC101 and MTC110. The student will be exposed to a variety of specialized massage techniques such as cranio-sacral, lymphatic, neuromuscular, reflexology and sports massage for various age groups and clients with special needs. Through the integration of therapeutic communication, assessment skills and knowledge of common acute and chronic illnesses, students will learn to develop appropriate treatment plans. Limited to matriculated MassageTherapy students. Prerequisite: MTC101 / 4 credits.
