Prerequisite: EMS 2656. Corequisite: EMS 2615. This course is the application of knowledge, skills and values assimilated in Medical Emergencies I and II and Trauma Emergencies. Using the background in the previous semester, the student will enhance assessment skills and treatment plans to the patients in a less-controlled environment. Clinical skills will include improving assessment skills, airway management skills, and venous access skills. In addition the student will begin to develop field impressions and identify treatment plans appropriate to findings from patient assessment and history.
