3 hours per week. Prerequisite: CGS 1100. This hands-on class will teach students the basic concepts of an object-oriented programming language using Visual Basic.net as the programming language. Students will learn to use Windows form elements, then create interactive programs using variables and events. Students will learn the basic programming techniques of using loops, control structures and repetition statements. Finally students will learn to use sequential access disk files arrays.
