Prerequisites: DEA 0850L and DES 1100. Corequisite: DEA 0851L. The course will concentrate on the advanced dental duties expected of a Certified Dental Assistant. This would include sealants, placement and removal of rubber dams, polishing of clinical crowns, fabrication of temporary crowns, placement and removal of matrix bands, and amalgam polishing.
