This course covers the fundamental organizational structures of the music industry, giving students exposure to hierarchical business structures, copyright law and licensing practices, royalties structures, contract law, and business ethics. The basic structures of the components of the music industry are observed through their relationship to each other. Pre-requisite: Junior standing (60 Credit hours completed by semester of registration).
