Continued part-writing in freee contrapuntal style: Three- and fourpart harmonization of given bass and soprano, using chords and their inversions; modulations, sequence; seventh, ninth nad augmented sixth chords; continued figured bass melodies from the chorales of J.S.Bach; continued transportation and modulation. Counterpoint; three-part strict counterpoint in all five species. Prerequisite:Music 107-108.
