MU 127. Ear-Training, Sight-Singing, Keyboard Harmony. 2(2,0) Sight-singing and ear-training; solfege of intervals, scales, melodies in various rhythms; melodies in various rhythmic dictions. Emphasis is on singing from score, principle; aural analysis of melody and harmony. Keyboard practice, functional piano technique developed; ability to play primary chord in all keys; to harmonize simple melodies and to improvise basic rhythm.
