This course is an introduction to principles of public speaking with application of speaking skills. This course is designed to give the student confidence and poise in various speaking situations through an awareness of the processes involved in public speaking and interpersonal communication by providing him or her with opportunities to express himself in informal speeches, group discussion and conversations. Prerequisite with a grade of C or higher: ENG 100 or placement into ENG 101.
