Description:

(Prereq: consent of instructor, 4 hours of biology credit). An independent study course in which students will conduct a literature review and write a proposal for a research project or conduct a preliminary research project. This course is intended for freshman or sophomore biology majors. To successfully complete this course, students must produce a written proposal for future research or a written or oral report of results. May not be used to meet general education requirements or for biology major credit. This course may be repeated for a maximum of 4 credits. Contract required.
