(3 credits)(Prereq: EDML*445 or EDSC*400) The development of knowledge, skills, and attitiudes necessary for instruction in English/Language Arts in the middle and secondary grades and for the integration of the areas of the curricular concentration. Standards-based instructional planning, integration of concepts, developmentally appropriate instructional strategies, appropriate assessment techniques, and implementation of planned instructional units are addressed. A clinical field experience at a middle school or secondary school site is required and included in this course. F
