By comparing and contrasting the perspectives education stakeholders--students, teachers, administrators, and parents--this course examines a number of key contributions to the study of the immigrant experience in education, as well as a selection of memoirs and films about the pathways these newcomers take in navigating school and (trans)forming their developing identities.
