Topics such as Art and REligion, Secular Arts of the Middle Ages, Symbolism and the 1890's, Abstract and Sign in Twentieth Centlury Art, and Sex, Gender, and Power in Japanese Art. For advanced students. Research paper required. Prerequisites: Art 4 or 5 and permission of the instructor. Signature required for registration. Offered annually.
