(formerly Perspective Drawing) Instructor: Kirsten Fischler twelve sessions Monday, 6:00-9:15 PM; February 16-May 4 NON-CREDIT Tuition: $450; 3.9 CEUs CREDIT Tuition: $900; 2 Credits Learn the basic principles of linear perspective and apply them through observational drawing. Students gain the ability to create drawings which have believable spatial arrangements, and depth. History of the development and use of perspective and relevant works from old masters to contemporary artists will be discussed. We will cover one-point and multiple-point perspective using various drawing techniques, measuring devices and their uses, relevant concepts such as optics, as well as projected perspective in an invented space. Basic drawing experience is preferred.
