Examines German occupation of Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia seen from the perspective of an ordinary Czech citizen. Discussion topics include Czech-German relations, the Holocaust, and resistance movements. Use of films, journalistic and literary texts. Tasks for the course are adjusted to two different language levels. Four meetings per week and use of audio/visual materials.
