The course will primarily focus on the principles and practice of Technical Direction and Production Management and the role of the Technical Director within the context of a collaborative process. The course will also include in depth study of subjects such as stage carpentry, stage electronics, shop management, stage rigging, and technical drafting. The course will also introduce subjects such as motion control, and common trade practices. Prerequisite: THEA 25. Offered spring semester in odd-numbered years.
