An inductive study of the Book of Revelation as the representative example of apocalyptic literature of the New Testament. Procedure involves a survey of the whole book and detailed analysis of the various parts. Emphasis upon the history of interpretation and proper understanding of this particular literary genre. Attention will also be given to the practical application of Revelation to the Christian life. Prerequisites: EN 102 English Composition II and BI201: Principles of Biblical Interpretation (or permission from the instructor).
