Primary texts by Chaucer and others, to be read in contexts of current critical debates (on topics including textuality, sexuality, and political formations) and medieval conceptual systems (including dream theory, alchemy, arts of memory). Priority to graduate students; no prior Middle English required. Enrollment limited to 15.
